I am a certified physician assistant (PA), experienced healthcare professional with over 25 years of practice, deeply rooted in the Lynchburg healthcare community as one of its pioneering PAs specialized in providing quality care and services to patients in the area.

MY STORY

Looking back when my son was 2 years old, I made the life changing decision to leave orthopedics for a better work-life balance.  Little did I know the new job I thought I would be as a cosmetic injector took an unexpected turn.  Hired by a medical group with different goals in mind, I found myself at a crossroads. 

 Amidst the uncertainty, a familiar opportunity arose for me to return to orthopedics, working with someone I truly respected.  I embraced the chance to work with an honest, upstanding individual and put my aesthetic aspirations on hold.  I made the leap back to orthopedics.

 As I reconnected with my roots, the desire of aesthetics practice still lingered in the back of my mind.  I knew that if I were to pursue this passion, it would have to be on my own terms.

Fast forward to 2022, and my son starts his journey at West Virginia University setting his sights on owning his own construction company.  His ambition echoes that of my father who at 81 still successfully runs his own business.  At that moment, as my son shares his dreams of entrepreneurial success, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of alignment between our dreams.

I continue to work in orthopedics while growing my aesthetic business.  My refined injection techniques aim to minimize discomfort and bruising benefiting both medical and aesthetic patients.

I established Best Aesthetics to assist individuals in achieving their aesthetic goals with the best anti-aging tools customized for their needs.  Understanding the importance of skin health, I am dedicated to guiding patients towards looking and feeling their best.  Given my personal experience with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I am attuned to the inflammatory process and prioritize my patients’ well-being.

 My product selection is based on science and health, ensuring that I would recommend only what I would use myself.  I advocate for simplicity in skincare routines to accommodate busy lifestyles, emphasizing the importance of effective yet uncomplicated regimens.

    I love to travel. Most of my travel these days involves traveling with my husband to my son’s college hockey games in and around West Virginia.

  • Animals

    I have been “horse crazy” since I was a little girl. I am blessed with a Labrador Retriever. I recently said good-bye to my horse who had been a member of our family for 20 years.

  • Non-Toxic Living

    I choose skin care products that are vegan, have limited ingredients, not tested on animals, and are simple to use. I recommend non-inflammatory products in order to fit everyone’s skin care needs.

  • KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a natural substance that is found in the body that helps breakdown and absorb dietary fat.
