I am a certified physician assistant (PA), experienced healthcare professional with over 25 years of practice, deeply rooted in the Lynchburg healthcare community as one of its pioneering PAs specialized in providing quality care and services to patients in the area.

MY STORY

Welcome to my world of aesthetics—a journey that combines creativity, healing, and passion.

After dedicating 25 years as a Physician Assistant (PA), the physical demands took a toll on my body. Suffering from various orthopedic and rheumatologic problems, I knew I needed to find a way to preserve my health while still helping others. My right-brained, creative nature led me to the field of aesthetics—a perfect blend of art and science.

I initially ventured into aesthetics when my son was young, but differing goals with my employer led me back to orthopedics, where I worked alongside a respected surgeon. During my career in orthopedics, I performed numerous musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided injections and first-assisted in surgeries. This extensive experience has honed my skills and provided me with a deep understanding of precision and patient care.

Fast forward to 2022, as my son began his journey at West Virginia University and shared his dreams of entrepreneurship, I realized it was my time to pursue my dreams. My physical health was deteriorating, and I knew this was the sign to move forward. I wanted to create a space where women could celebrate each other and experience the finest, most up-to-date personalized anti-aging techniques in a welcoming environment.

In 2024, my journey took a personal turn when I was diagnosed with melanoma on my face. This experience reinforced the importance of skin health for overall well-being, self-care, and self-confidence. It solidified my mission to enhance natural beauty through safe, high-quality skin and wellness services, all backed by the latest scientific research.

  • Travel

    I love to travel. Most of my travel these days involves traveling with my husband to my son’s college hockey games in and around West Virginia.

  • Animals

    I have been “horse crazy” since I was a little girl. You will see this throughout my entire office. I am blessed with a Labrador Retriever. I recently said good-bye to my horse who had been a member of our family for 20 years.

  • Non-Toxic Living

    I choose skin care products that are vegan, have limited ingredients, not tested on animals, and are simple to use. I recommend non-inflammatory products in order to fit everyone’s skin care needs.

  • Over time repetitive muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling, laughing or raising the eyebrows can create fine lines and wrintkles on the face. Botox Cosmetics (Onubotulinum A) works beneath the surface by relaxing the underlying muscles to temporarily smooth wrinkles.

  • Dermal fillers are made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occuring substance that keeps the skin moisturized and soft. Juvederm fillers are safe, natural and long lasting nonsurgical products that contain a modified form of HA. Each unique Juviderm product adds volume and is designed for different needs in specific areas of the face including the lips, cheeks, chin, smile lines, under eyes, or jawline.

    Skinvive by Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid microdroplet intradermal injection used to improve cheek skin smoothness. It helps give the skin a glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy look.

  • KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a natural substance that is found in the body that helps breakdown and absorb dietary fat. When KYBELLA® is injected into the fat underneath the chin, it destroys fat cells making a noticeable difference in the reduction of fullness under the chin. When the fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer accumulate more fat cells. Once you reach your aesthetic goals, no further treatments are needed.

  • Chemical peels help your skin look and feel more uniform and renewed by diminishing fine lines, wrinkles, and roughness. Chemical peels can also address skin tone unevenness caused by acne scarring and other pigmentary changes.
